In Memoriam: Harold Ramis

I know this is a bit late but, I needed to find the right words to write instead of having some random words on this page. Harold Ramis was an actor, director and writer who worked on movies and tv shows such as SCTV, Analyze This, Analyze That, Caddyshack, National Lampoon's Vacation, Animal House, Groundhog Day, Airheads, Knocked Up, Meatballs, Stripes and Back to School. However, his most famous role and the reason he is mentioned on this blog, is as Dr. Egon Spengler from the two Ghostbusters films. The Ghostbusters are something I look back fondly from my childhood and his acting and writing for the films was great! I don't care if you hated the second film or not, I love them both! They have a third movie in the writing process where it is a passing of the torch movie giving the original guys minimal roles with Harold Ramis having a bit of a bigger role then the others (as we were told) and the writers bouncing ideas off of him to see what will work and what will not. The series will not be the same without him...you need the combination of Murray, Aykroyd, Hudson and Ramis to make the movies what they are. He has been a part of some of my favorite movies ever in some way or another whether he acted, directed or wrote them. Thus, in conclusion, we promise we won't cross the streams as long as you tell us about the Twinkie just one more time. We will miss you.
