Like past issues of this great anthology series, I will only be looking at the Hellboy story as that is the only reason I got it and have not followed the other stories or characters as much. Hell, if you flip the book over it goes right to the story and features a Mike Mignola cover! So, in this story, Hellboy is told a story of greed and wanting too much by a hanging man from a tree. The story is simple and the message is effective in that fairy tale sort of way. Also, the art is great and it doesn't miss a beat. It is a folktale from Hell that is meant to entertain you. Does it focus on Hellboy? Nope! Is it good? Yes it is. It's short, sweet and to the point. Get it as it is a great short story to add to the others in the Hellboy world. As well, you never know if this theme or character may pass by again in the future. With Hellboy in the mix, that is a possibility for sure.
