In Memoriam: Michael C. Gross

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love the Ghostbusters franchise. Now, a man who was a major part of the original films and cartoons has passed. Michael Gross was a producer on bother films and the cartoons along with others 80s comedies like Twins, Beethoven and Kindergarten Cop along with Heavy Metal. He was also a major part in the National Lampoon magazine in the 70s. However, he will always be best known for creating the most iconic logo in the world. That's right folks, he is the man behind the logo that can be found all over my childhood and the great memories that go along with those movies and cartoons he produced. He is the man who created the famous "No Ghost" logo. That in itself is huge and if you bother asking why you live under a rock. No logo in the Horror community is as recognized, loved and adored as that one. When you see it, it brings you back to a time, a simpler one, a better one and a much more fun one than the one you are currently in. R.I.P. Michael Gross, may you and Harold bust some ghosts together again.
